Please consider becoming a part of this community-building event. We’re looking for…..

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YEARBOOKS!
Thanks to Korematsu’s DECA club for helping guide the 2018-2019 yearbook. These students have contributed ideas and photographs, made key decisions, and added energy and enthusiasm. But we still need your help! The more photos the Korematsu community provides, the better our yearbook! If you have photos of students or events please send them to us using one of the methods below. We need lots of photos soon to make our first Jostens deadline next week, so don’t delay, send them in today!

TWO WAYS TO SEND IN PHOTOS!
One easy way to send photos is to use Jostens’ mobile app called ReplayIt! Just download the app to your phone or tablet, select Korematsu as your school, then add photos. https://www.replayit.com/#/home
A cool thing about ReplayIt is that your photos (once approved by Jostens) will appear on the web site. You can also use this link to upload photos from your computer.
An alternate method of submitting photos is to use the Dropbox we have set up. Just upload photos to: https://www.dropbox.com/request/dmoKUQUIljZQ2Ov6yVKI

Tonight’s performance of “A Lighter Shade of Noir” is canceled.
The performances will continue after Thanksgiving break.
Enjoy the time off!
Dear WCCUSD Families.
The smoke from the Camp Fire in Northern California has severely impacted air quality for more than a week and has made managing classrooms and supporting students challenging. The smoke has affected some areas of our large, geographically diverse District more than others and the experts have predicted improving air quality each day this week, but the reality has been much different.
Due to the continued smoke, I have made the decision to close schools on Friday, November 16th. This means that all District schools and departments are closed. Many of you will get an early start to the Thanksgiving holiday break and I hope the extra time will allow you to recover from the difficult week we have experienced.
We hope to resume operations on Monday, if air quality allows. If you are scheduled to work next week, please contact your department manager on Monday morning. Remember that schools will be closed all week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Additional information will be available on the District website and I encourage you to talk to your principal or department head if you have any specific questions.
https://www.wccusd.net/
Thank you all for your continued support of our students. I hope the upcoming holiday week is rejuvenating and filled with joy and laughter.
In partnership,
Matthew Duffy
Superintendent
