Open House Thursday, March 26th
The band will kick off the festivities at 6:15pm under the green canopies in the center of campus. There will be a salsa dancing demonstration immediately following the band’s performance. The fun will continue until 8:30pm with multiple events occurring simultaneously in different classrooms. You can see the Constitution Convention, Math Socratic Seminar, Magna Carta, Catapults, or the drama production, “Cinderella One Step Closer”. Details for navigating the events to follow.
Save the evening of March 26th for us! We’ll showcase some of the work we’ve been doing all year. Come share in our students’ accomplishments!

The KMS Counseling Series: How to Help Your Child Succeed in Middle School

KMS Science Fair & Potluck 2/11

Science Fair_IconThe Korematsu Science Fair & Finger Food Potluck is Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 6:00-9::00 p.m., Room 35 (Café).This is a great opportunity to come out and see what our young, creative minds submitted. This event is open to Korematsu families and incoming or prospective families. You’ll also view the projects that will advance to the WCCUSD Science Fair to be held on Wednesday, February 25th.

After the fair, projects are available for pick up. Please leave those with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons. They will go on to the District Science Fair.

The next session, “Study Skills”, will be held in Room 8 on the KMS temporary campus on Thursday, January 29th at 1:00pm. The sessions are geared toward parents and guardians of 6th and 7th graders, but everyone is welcome!

KMS Basketball Season Underway

The Korematsu Middle School boys and girls basketball seasons are underway and off to a great start!

The girls season starts earlier, and they have already established a strong winning record at 7-1!
