This year, instead of Celebrate Korematsu, the PTA is introducing something new that you can do virtually. We’re sponsoring a walkathon/scavenger hunt. The event is October 16th, but you can do your walkathon or scavenger hunt anytime up to October 16th, or even after. Just note that prizes will be calculated on October 16th.
The key is to invite your family members to sponsor you using the very cool Pledgestar system, (that some of our elementary schools already use). You can upload your child’s photo and send a custom email (already written for you) to your friends and family. It’s super easy! Don’t be afraid! To participate, you can either walk 2 miles (walkathon) or do one of the following three scavenger hunts, or do a mix-and-match of any of the photos from the 3 scavenger hunts. Any level of participation is good! Try to get 12 photos, but if you can’t, don’t worry about it! In Covid, we have learned to slow down.

Queridas familias:Este año, en lugar de Celebrate Korematsu, la PTA presenta algo nuevo que puedes hacer virtualmente. Estamos patrocinando una caminata / búsqueda del tesoro. El evento es el 16 de octubre, pero puede hacer su caminata o búsqueda del tesoro en cualquier momento hasta el 16 de octubre, o incluso después.
