KOREMATSU AT PEACE AND UNITY CINCO DE MAYO PARADE:
A group of our students will represent Korematsu Middle School in Richmond’s Cinco de Mayo parade! Come out and support them!
The parade will begin at Richmond Civic Center at 24th Street and Barrett. It travels north on 23rd Street, turns right on Market Ave, and ends at St. Paul Church, 1835 Church Lane in San Pablo. The parade is followed by a festival with performances, music, food, games, and much more. Admission is free.
READING WITHOUT WALLS CHALLENGE
MS. BOGIE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS FOR ICE CREAM PARTY
Ms. Bogie is looking for five parents to help from 10:45-12:45 on Thursday, May 4. She will be hosting the ice cream party and raffle for the Reading Without Walls participants on that day.

- Monday = $2
- Tuesday = $2.50
- Wednesday = $3
- Thursday = $4
- At the door/afterschool = $5
In order to purchase a ticket:
- must not be on exclusion/suspension list as of February 14th
- must have current Korematsu student ID/lanyard
- must have cash for ticket
- must have signed permission slip (available in office or Ms. Renee’s room A221
